Natalie Memarsadeghi

Natalie Memarsadeghi graduated in May 2021 with a BS in environmental science, with a concentration in marine and coastal management and a minor in French language, from the University of Maryland. She is currently pursuing a MS in geographical sciences, with a study focus of the spatial distribution of malaria in Thailand and Cambodia. During my time at ESSIC, I have contributed to two research projects, first on flood mapping of the Mississippi River Basin with the consideration of national levees, and then on constructing a training dataset to automatically discriminate aquatic surface cover types, with a focus on seagrass.
