Jeannette Wild

Jeannette D. Wild received a BA (1981) in Physics from Towson State University, and an MS (1984) and PhD (1990) in Physics from the University of MD, College Park.  Currently she is a Senior Faculty Specialist with ESSIC/CICS and NOAA/National Centers for Environmental Prediction/Climate Prediction Center in College Park.  She specializes in stratospheric studies, especially the observation and monitoring of the ozone layer.  She is a member of the international Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (NDACC), is involved in Long-term Ozone Trends and Uncertainties in the Stratosphere (LOTUS), and provides validation and monitoring of Stratospheric Backscatter UV (SBUV), Ozone Mapping Profiler Suite (OMPS) and Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment (SAGE) profile ozone data.
