Peng Yu got his B.S. and M.S. in oceanography from the Ocean University of China, and received his Ph.D. in physical oceanography from the Florida State University. His work interests include satellite data retrieval algorithms and validation, numerical modeling and data assimilation, satellite and in-situ observations and their application in geosciences and costal oceanography. He is currently working on Land Surface Temperature product retrieval algorithm development and improvement.
