Rebecca Wenker received her BA in 2015 from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her MS in 2019 from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she studied the colony complexity, age, and growth of sea whip corals (Leptogorgia virgulata) in the mid-Atlantic. Currently she is a Faculty Assistant with ESSIC/CICS, and working as a data manager for NOAA/National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) in Silver Spring. There, she is a NOAA’s Coral Reef Information System (CoRIS) team member.
