Tyler Wawrzyniak is a PhD student at the University of Maryland in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences working with Dr. Da-Lin Zhang as a graduate research assistant. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. His research interests include analysis of tropical cyclones using numerical weather simulations and data assimilation of remote sensing data. Tyler is currently working on developing new visualization techniques of the Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) remote sensing data using Python and is investigating case studies of tropical cyclones using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. His CICS-MD project is on Limb Correction of ATMS Measurements.
