Ziya Zhang has been working for what is now called the Office of Water Prediction of National Weather Service since he finished Ph.D. studies in hydrology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Some of his research activities include distributed hydrologic modeling, analysis of record for calibration, and snow data assimilation. He got His M.S. degree in hydraulic engineering from Wuhan University of China.
