First International Operational Satellite
Oceanography Symposium
This conference will be held 18-20 June 2019 here in College Park, MD. The Poster Reception will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at the CICS-MD Office in the 3rd Floor Lounge.
This conference will focus on operational satellite oceanographic data, products and applications. Registration is free. This is a great opportunity for students to present their research to NOAA scientists. Student posters topics must be on oceanography or satellites, with a preference for satellite oceanography. We have only 10 to 15 poster slots so please get us your poster titles as soon as possible. The deadline for students signing up to present a poster has been extended to May 21. You will be notified if your poster has been accepted on May 24.
The Symposium is also looking for student volunteers to take notes at the sessions. There are 11 different 2-hour openings for note-takers at the three-day conference. Please let us know if you want to volunteer by June 1.
