Jieshun Zhu

Jieshun Zhu received a B.S. (2002) in Computational Mathematics  and a Ph.D. (2007) in Meteorology from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (formerly Nanjing Institute of Meteorology). After his doctorate, he spent three years (2007-2010) at Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada, and over four years (2010-2014) at The Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA). He then worked as a Research Scientist at Innovim and CPC/NCEP/NOAA. He is currently a Visiting Associate Research Scientist at ESSIC, University of Maryland. His research interests include climate predictions/predictability, air-sea interaction and climate modeling.
