Jun Zhou

Jun Zhou is a Post-Doctoral Associate at ESSIC/CICS-MD. She received her PhD in Atmospheric Physics and Environment from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. She worked as a Research Assistant at IAP after graduation. Her research direction was cloud tomography based on airborne microwave radiometer. In July 2014, she began her studies in the United States at NOAA in Boulder, Colorado. There, she worked on adding the Community Radiative Transfer Model (CRTM) to a newly being built global 4D-Var data assimilation system.She transferred to ESSIC in July 2015 to continue her studies and her current research interest is in satellite geolocation and calibration.
