Ligang Chen

Ligang Chen is an Assistant Research Engineer at the Department of Atmospheric & Oceanic Science, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA. He received his bachelor degree in mathematics and Ph.D. degree in computer science, both from Zhejiang University. He then worked on Regional Climate Modelling, and now is working with Prof. James Carton on ocean data assimilation using Simple Ocean Data Assimilation (SODA) and Joint Effort for Data assimilation Integration (JEDI).
