Louis Giglio

Louis Giglio received a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Maryland at College Park, an M.S. degree in applied physics from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, and a Ph.D. in geography, again from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he is currently a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Geographical Sciences. His research interests include remote sensing of active fires and burned area on a global scale, global fire emissions, and satellite direct broadcast applications.
