Sinead Farrell

Sinéad Farrell is an Assistant Research Scientist at ESSIC collaborating with the NOAA Laboratory for Satellite Altimetry http://ibis.grdl.noaa.gov/SAT/SAT.html and the NASA Cryospheric Sciences Branch http://neptune.gsfc.nasa.gov/csb/. Her main interests lie in remote sensing of the Earth's polar regions using satellite and airborne altimetry for marine geophysics and cryospheric investigations. She earned her M.Sci. in Earth and Space Science at University College London in 2002, and completed her Ph.D. in Space and Climate Physics, also at University College London, in 2007. Previously Sinéad held a National Academy of Sciences / National Research Council Research Associateship at NOAA between 2007 and 2009.
