Wallace Island Precipitation Validation Sensors

Nai-Yu Wang and Scott Rudlosky visited NASA’s Wallops Island Flight Facility to meet with Walt Petersen and David Wolff in mid-August. They discussed and toured their vast array of GPM validation sensors, including the NPOL radar (see below). Wallops also will be installing an LMA system which they are planning to tie in with the DCLMA. This collaboration has great potential (S. Rudlosky, scott.rudlosky@noaa.gov).
