Amanda Chiachi

Amanda Chiachi is a Faculty Assistant at ESSIC and is also affiliated with NOAA’s Climate Program Office (CPO), where she serves as a Program Analyst with the Modeling, Analysis, Predictions, and Projections Program (MAPP). Previously, Amanda held roles as the Climate Policy Fellow and Special Assistant to NOAA’s Senior Advisor for Climate. Her experience spans state-level work, non-governmental organizations, lab and field technician positions, and environmental education. Amanda earned a Master’s degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge in 2022, and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Conservation and Resource Studies and Marine Science from the University of California, Berkeley (2014).
