Veljko Petkovic

Veljko Petkovic received his B.S. in atmospheric science from University of Belgrade, Serbia. After spending three years as a forecaster, he joined the graduate program at Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University and earned his Ph.D. in Spring 2017. His research focuses on hydrology, atmospheric radiative transfer, and remote sensing of precipitation over land with focus on satellite passive and active microwave retrievals, cloud microphysical processes and their interactions with a large-scale environment.
