Wei Wang received her B.S. degree in Electronic Science and Technology and first M.S degree in Physical Geography from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST), Nanjing, China, in 2007 and 2011, respectively, and the second M.S degree in electrical engineering at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), in 2023. Currently, she serves as a Faculty Assistant at the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC), where she is supported by the Microwave Integrated Retrieval System (MiRS) team. In collaboration with other members of the MiRS science team, she is focused on advancing the science and performance of the retrieval algorithm. Her work involves utilizing advanced machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy of MiRS official retrieval products, such as precipitation, temperature, and water vapor.
