Xin Jing
Xin Jing earned her Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping from Tongji University in Shanghai, China and earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry from Peking University in Beijing, China. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher for the South Dakota State University Image Processing Lab from November 2016 to April 2018. Dr. Jing has been working at Department of Astronomy, University of Maryland, as a postdoctoral researcher since May 2018. Her research interests include calibration/validation of satellite sensors and validation of nighttime night sensors. One of the main projects she is working on is the calibration/validation of Jason-3 Advanced Microwave Radiometer (AMR) onboard performance.
