Yuan Zhou

Yuan Zhou is a doctoral candidate and Research Graduate Assistant in the Department of Geographical Sciences, University of Maryland. He got his Bachelor and Master degrees at the College of Resources Sciences and Technology, Beijing Normal University. He has extensive experiences in satellite remote sensing application studies. His main research areas include remote sensing, energy budget and climate change. He has worked on algorithm development, improvement and validation for the NOAA JPSS VIIRS satellites land surface product for five years.
