Yulan Hong

Yulan Hong is a Visiting Assistant Research Scientist at Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center of the University of Maryland.  She received her B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2012.  She earned her Ph.D. degree in Meteorology from Florida State University in 2017. Using satellite observations and field campaign measurements, her research focuses on understanding aerosol, cloud, and precipitation macrophysical and microphysical properties, aerosol-cloud-radiation interactions, and Earth-radiation budget.
