Berbery Receives RAICES Award

CICS-MD Deputy Director and ESSIC/AOSC Research Professor E. Hugo Berbery was awarded the  RAICES Award for International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation by the Argentine Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation . This award is presented to researchers living abroad who encourage cooperation to improve the scientific and technological abilities of Argentina. The Argentine minister of this department presented the award to Berbery on December 6^th in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The term “raíces” is Spanish for “roots,” linking researchers’ contributions to Argentina, their home country.
